Product Details:

SK series liquid ring vacuum pumps compress gas by rotating a vane impeller inside a cylindrical housing. When a liquid is fed into the pump, under centrifugal acceleration, a cylindrical ring is formed that fits snugly inside the housing. This liquid ring creates a series of seals in the space between the impeller blades, thus forming the compression chamber. After the gas is drawn into the pump through the air inlet at the end of the casing, the gas is trapped in the compression chamber formed by the impeller blades and the liquid ring. Finally, the rotation of the impeller results in a volume reduction, which compresses the gas and discharges it into the discharge port at the end of the casing.
