ZX series chemical centrifugal pumps are horizontal centrifugal pumps with self-priming capabilities, making them particularly suitable for situations where a foot valve cannot be installed and rapid priming is difficult. These pumps are designed to handle clean water, acidic and alkaline chemical liquids, seawater, and liquid media containing small amounts of solid particles. They offer a head range of 12–80 meters and a flow rate typically ranging from 3 to 550 cubic meters per hour. It meets the pumping requirements for groundwater and river water extraction, as well as most surface water storage applications, making it an essential pumping solution in industries such as fire protection boosting, industrial water supply and drainage, agricultural irrigation, chemical transportation, and municipal wastewater discharge.

Product Details:

In the ZX series self-priming centrifugal pumps, when the motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, a low-pressure zone forms at the impeller inlet, causing the air in the suction pipe to mix vigorously with the liquid in the impeller volute, forming a gas-liquid mixture. When this mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber, the gas returns to the impeller inlet through the return port and mixes with the air inside the pump. As the air inside the pump is gradually expelled, a vacuum forms in the pipeline, drawing liquid into the pump under atmospheric pressure. Ultimately, the pump completes the self-priming process and transitions to normal centrifugal pump operation, thereby delivering a continuous and stable flow of liquid.

Application:

This equipment is capable of conveying waste water, seawater, acidic and alkaline liquids and media containing up to 30% solids. It is primarily used in industries such as urban environmental protection, construction, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, dyes, textile printing and dyeing, brewing, power generation, electroplating, papermaking, petroleum, mining, and agricultural irrigation.
