The impeller of the IS series centrifugal pump rotates at high speed driven by the pump shaft, generating powerful centrifugal force. The liquid between the blades is flung toward the outer periphery of the impeller under centrifugal force, imparting kinetic energy to the fluid. As the liquid flows through the volute-shaped passage of the pump casing, the gradually widening flow path converts part of the fluid's kinetic energy into static pressure energy, thereby achieving pressurized delivery. Simultaneously with the ejection of liquid, a low-pressure zone forms at the impeller's center. Liquid is continuously drawn into the impeller through the suction pipe. As the impeller rotates continuously, liquid is endlessly drawn in and expelled.
