When conveying high-viscosity, easily solidifying, and shear-sensitive asphalt, conventional equipment often experiences sudden efficiency drops, accelerated wear, or material degradation. However, the G screw pump delivers efficient and stable performance under such conditions, establishing itself as a preferred choice in road paving applications. G series single-screw pump is a rotary positive displacement pump that achieves volumetric changes for fluid conveyance through the interlocking discharge and suction chambers formed by the screw's nested bushings. This equipment primarily consists of a single-head rotor and a double-head screw that elastically mesh, creating a series of continuous, sealed, and uniformly advancing chambers along the pump's axial direction. Consequently, asphalt is securely enclosed and transported in a complete, continuous manner from the suction end to the discharge end.
This delivery mechanism enables the effective propulsion of highly viscous, non-flowing media within the sealed chambers, achieving stable and pulsation-free pumping performance. Meanwhile, the conveying process primarily advances the medium through changes in chamber geometry, featuring low internal flow velocity and minimal shear forces, effectively mitigating resistance from high-viscosity materials. This significantly preserves the original properties of asphalt, preventing temperature increases caused by vigorous agitation and shear that could alter its physicochemical characteristics or even trigger localized equipment overheating and premature aging.
High-viscosity asphalt creates high resistance, and when sealing is inadequate, reverse leakage occurs, causing a sharp drop in volumetric efficiency. Therefore, the stator of this equipment is typically made of wear-resistant, oil-resistant elastic material. This material not only forms a good seal with the metal rotor and accommodates minute impurities but also withstands immersion and corrosion from hot asphalt, ensuring long-term service life and seal durability under high-temperature operating conditions. Additionally, the low-speed design further reduces equipment wear and temperature rise, enabling the pump to deliver high-temperature asphalt continuously for extended periods. G series bitumen screw pump delivers stable displacement through its continuously sealed chambers, gently preserving asphalt properties with low shear rates while withstanding high-temperature conditions with durable materials. These features enable the equipment to perform reliably and efficiently in asphalt loading, unloading, mixing, and filling operations.
