In industrial wastewater treatment, sewage discharge, and sludge dewatering systems, sludge media typically have high solids content, high viscosity, and distinct non-newtonian fluid characteristics, and may also contain fibers, fine particles, and other impurities. When the pumping capacity does not match the sludge characteristics, problems such as flow rate fluctuations, media blockages, overloads, and accelerated wear on key components are likely to occur during operation. Because the G series screw pump uses a positive-displacement design, it can steadily convey sludge from inlet to outlet, ensuring smooth, efficient transport.
In general, as sludge concentration increases, its viscosity rises significantly, requiring conveyance equipment that relies solely on high-speed rotation to generate hydrodynamic forces to transport sludge under more stringent conditions in order to achieve efficient conveyance. Nevertheless, this equipment relies on the rotation of the rotor to move the medium axially along the pump chamber, causing the sealing chamber to continuously form, move, and discharge the medium, resulting in continuous sludge conveyance with minimal pulsation. This conveyance method reduces instability caused by fluctuations in medium flow and is exceptionally well-suited for conveying concentrated sludge, dewatered sludge, and sludge containing solid particles.
G high-viscosity screw pump utilizes a positive displacement design to ensure continuous flow between the rotor and stator while minimizing the impact on the medium within the pump chamber. This design limits the effects of severe shear and turbulence generated during the processing of sludge containing solids on the structure of sludge flocs, thereby ensuring that the sludge meets the requirements of subsequent process stages. Moreover, we provide customizable configurations for the rotor, stator, and seal materials based on the abrasiveness, corrosiveness, and operating temperature of different sludge types, enhancing the equipment’s adaptability and stability under long-term operating conditions.
This pump controls the flow rate by adjusting the rotational speed, thereby maintaining a stable feed rate in the sludge dewatering system, which not only ensures the stability of the sludge moisture content and the entire treatment process but also guarantees that the sludge meets the requirements of the next production stage. By matching the pump specifications and operating speed to the sludge concentration, the dewatering equipment’s processing capacity, and process requirements, it maintains a more continuous and stable feed of sludge to downstream equipment, thereby reducing process fluctuations caused by an unstable feed.
The correct selection of flow rate, pressure, and rotational speed for G screw sewage pumps prevents equipment from operating under prolonged overload conditions and significantly reduces unnecessary mechanical wear. For continuously operating wastewater treatment and industrial sludge treatment systems, stable pumping capacity minimizes production losses caused by frequent shutdowns, cleaning, and maintenance. When handling sludge with high sand content or high abrasiveness, our technical staff will select the appropriate rotor, stator, and seal configurations based on the specific medium to extend the service life of wear parts and the equipment itself.
In projects involving the continuous treatment of high-solids-content sludge, this equipment demonstrates exceptional adaptability to various media and stable pumping capacity, achieving continuous discharge and efficient conveyance even when sludge concentrations are high, flowability is poor, and solid particles are present. The G slurry screw pump has become a reliable conveyance device in sludge thickening, dewatering, transfer, and subsequent treatment processes, meeting the needs of various wastewater treatment processes.
